Shift and Schedule

11:45 to Close (6:00 - 6:30)

Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Shift and Schedule are Mandatory and Non-Negotiable.

The store will occasionally have extended hours for events and holidays.

Job Description:

Retroid Games is a small business that prioritizes having a small but highly trained staff. The following are not all encompassing, and you may be given new/different tasks based on the needs of the business

Retail Associates will be responsible for running checkout, providing customer service, cleaning, packing online orders, listing products online and assisting with e-commerce, stocking shelves, merchandising, assisting with inventory management, processing new inventory, assisting with trade-ins, communicating daily with management on issues that arise during the shift and being flexible with newly assigned tasks.

There will be additional opportunities in the future to cover shifts for staff members who are out.

Job advancement and pay raises will be provided based on merit and taking on new responsibilities as the business sees necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of video games, collectibles and trading cards.
Minimum 6 months prior retail experience is required.
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

SKILLS

Possess strong people skills, and be able to work with customers in challenging situations
Be able to assist customers with individual needs on a person to person basis
Must be able to speak and write in English clearly, in person, on the phone, and through email and text.
Good listening skills; be able to take direction and execute tasks with minimum oversight.
Must be comfortable working independently. You will often be working alone.
Must have good interpersonal skills with coworkers and management.
Must have basic computer skills and be able to use a Point of Sales system
Possess basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, currency and using percentages).

Effectively manage pressure and adapt to stressful situations without impact on guest interactions; be creative and a problem solver.

Stand and move throughout the store unassisted for up to 12 hours per day.
Bend, stoop, crouch, balance, stretch, reach with arms/hands, climb on ladders, lift merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. from ground level to minimum height of 4 feet, and utilize other basic fine and gross motor skills.
